Project Description
The Govt. of India through the National Highway Authority (NHAI) has undertaken development of six laning of Pimpalgaon – Nasik – Gonde Section of NH-3 (Km. 380 to Km.440) in the state of Maharashtra on Design, Build Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis under NHDP Phase –III including its operation & maintenance. The project envisages the widening to six lanes strengthening & improvements of 60 km. road stretches from Km 380 to Km 440 of Pimpalgaon – Nasik – Gonde section. NHAI has appointed IE (Independent Engineer) to oversee the activities of the Concessionaire during design, operation & maintenance of the project Highway. Objective of the IE will to act principally on behalf of NHAI and Concessionaire to review all activities on financial and technical matters. Review of drawings and monitoring of construction works. Conducting tests on completion & issuing completion Certifications, Inspection & Monitoring
