Project Description

Govt. of India has decided for up-gradation of single/ intermediate lane of NH’s to at least two lane with paved shoulders on either sides of road. As part of this endeavour MoRT&H has taken up the project road under NHDP Phase I for widening and strengthening this stretch through financial assistance of World Bank. This section of NH-11B is of 85 km length. The entire length of NH-11B lies in Rajasthan State. The project road connects three important towns i.e. Lalsot, Gangapur city and Karoli. The road traverses in plain area except 2 km near Karauli where it negotiate the rolling terrain. The work for construction is allotted to M/s Dilip Buildcon Ltd. and the RAP implementing consultant is M/s Samajik Arthik Vikas Samiti. The road is to be developed in 2 lane in a length of 59.630 km, 2 lane with paved shoulders in 18.125 km and 4 lane is 5.580 km length. The total flexible pavement is 85.570 km and rigid pavement is 2.750 km, total comes to 86.650 km. the following structure are (Length- 85.00 km 2 lanes/2 lane with Paved Shoulders
