Project Description

"Govt. Of India has authorised NHAI to implement a project of 4/6 lane divided carriageway facility of the project road on BOT basis through a Concessionaire M/s LANCO Devihali Highways Pvt. Ltd. with a concession period of 25 years from appointed date. The Concessionaire has completed the construction work and the project facility is opened to traffic. The NHAI has appointed M/S “Theme Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd” as an Independent Engineer to oversee the activities of the Concessionaire during Operation and Maintenance and for fee collection of the project highway. The Concessionaire shall operate and maintain the project highway by itself through qualified O&M staff. Nelamangala is a suburb of Bengaluru city and lies on junction of NH-4 & NH-48. The project road is 4 lane divided carriageway and 6 lane at few locations. The riding quality of the road is quite satisfactory. The project road leads to Mangalore seacoast in west of country. The details of structures which are covered under maintainance programme are: I) ROB 1 no. VI) Truck lay byes 6 nos. II) Major Bridges 2 nos. VII) Bus lay byes 32 nos. III) Minor Bridges 23 nos. VIII) Structures 8 nos. IV) Culverts 124 nos. IX) Under Pass 23 nos. V) Toll Plaza 2 nos. X) Service Road 7m wide 44.174 Km. "
