Project Description
NH-24 is one of the prime transport corridor in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It connects the capital Lucknow with the National capital and other important industrial towns of U.P. It carries a sizeable amount of intra – state and inter – state traffic. The project passes through plain area. It was constructed by M/s Lucknow – Sitapur Expressways Limited and the commencement date of Concession was 22-06-2006 and the end of concession period is 21-06-2026. It is a toll road. There lies two toll plazas. Toll collection started from 17-10-2011. Theme has been appointed as Independent Engineer to oversee the activities of Operation and Maintenance. It is a 4 lane divided carriageway. There lies four major bridges, one minor bridge and 82 culverts.
